Senior's Expo
The Batawa Development Corporation invites you to attend our annual Senior’s Expo. It will be held at the Batawa Community Centre on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Last year's event was well attended by over 400 guests and provided an opportunity to showcase services, activities, products and resources to an audience of older adults to help them lead happy and healthy lives.
Event Goals:
- To promote learning and encourage seniors and their families to understand all that is available to help cope with life and significant life changes
- To highlight health issues that may affect the older adults
- To assist seniors to stay connected to their community, to network, and to understand what their community has to offer in leisure, recreation, health support, home and family support, etc.
- To help seniors and their families to plan for the future
- To provide new opportunities for seniors to have fun, stay active, stay safe and be healthy
